    1 egg
    1/4 c. ketchup
    1 T. mustard
    1 1/2 c. oats
    1t. salt
    1/2 t. parlic powder
    1/2 t. thyme
    1/2 t. basil
    3/4 c. beef broth
    3/4 c. onion, chopped
    2 lbs. lean ground beef


Beat egg, stir in ketchup,mustard,oats,salt,g.powder,thyme and basil. Add b.broth to mixture and mix well. Stir in the onion and beef. Mix well. Press into ungreased loaf pan bake at 375 for 1 1/4 hours drain. Yields: 8 slices

Note: You can add 1 cup of shredded,cheddar cheese to the mixture before baking and then top with another 1/4 cup at the end of baking but this is not in the nutritional facts as I felt the calories just to high, but it is very delicious this way! That would be the reason for needing to lose weight!!
