A real improvement on canned soup, and much cheaper than the deli soups. A real improvement on canned soup, and much cheaper than the deli soups.
Number of Servings: 3


    1 large can (28 oz) whole, peeled tomatoes in tomato juice
    1 small can (5 oz) evaporated milk
    3 oz tomato paste
    1 cup of skim milk
    basil 1 tbsp or to taste
    parsley 2 tsp
    garlic powder 1 tsp or to taste
    1 tsp Splenda
    black pepper to taste


In a food processer or blender, combine tomatoes, tomato paste, and evaporated milk. Process until smooth (or desired texture). Pour mixture into a large pot, add all other ingredients and heat at a medium temperature until hot throughout.

Makes 3 1.5 cup servings.
