    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Beets, fresh, 3 beet (2" dia) (cooked)
    *Corned Beef (Meteor) tinned, 170 gram(s)
    Sunflower Oil, 1 tbsp
    800g boiled or baked potatoes


Slice onions. Slice beetroot, corned beef and potatoes into chunks. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the onions and potatoes for 5 minutes, turning when golden then add the corned beef for another 5. Add the beetroot and press into a cake in the pan. Leave to form a crispy bottom then turn using a plate and do the top. Or, in an ovenproof dish, grill or bake.

I leave the skin on the potatoes for this. A lower fat version you can peel the potatoes, dry fry the onion and then mash the potatoes with the onion, corned beef and beetroot and stick in the oven. Serve with beans/fried egg.

Substitute corned beef with bacon.
