Ingredients

    3 c cooked chickpeas or 2 (15 oz) cans drained and rinsed chickpea
    1/2 c warm water
    3 T lime juice
    1 T tahini
    1 1/2 t ground cumin
    1 T minced garlic
    1 t salt
    2 T chopped cilantro

Directions

Put all ingredients except cilantro in food processor and mix for 4 minutes. Add an extra tablespoon or two of water if necessary. Transfer mixture to bowl and stir in cilantro.

Great low fat, low carb dip. Makes 16 servings

Roasted red pepper hummus: add 2 roasted red peppers in processor. Makes 20 servings.
