    1 12oz. pky Lentils
    I -14.5oz can Italian Style diced tomatoes
    1/4 cup barley
    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    1/2 cup celery, chopped
    1/2 cup carrots, chopped
    1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
    4 cubes Maggi vegetable bouillon cubes
    Pepper to taste


In a large pot, saute onion, celery, carrots, & bell pepper for 3 minutes and vegetable are soft. Add 1 can diced tomatoes, barley, lentils, 4 bouillion cubes and 12 cups of water. Bring to a boil, lower heat and cook for 30 minutes or more until lentils and barley are tender. Add more water as needed until lentils are soft. Pepper to taste.

Serves 10 - 1 cup servings
