    1 c whole wheat flour
    1 c all purpose flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 Tbsp brown sugar
    1/4 c applesauce
    1 egg
    2 c nonfat milk (add 2 tbsp lemon juice, add milk to equal 2 cups)
    2 cups blueberries (thaw if frozen)


Sift dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
Mix applesauce, milk, egg and sugar in a medium bowl.
Add all ingredients in one bowl and stir until blended.
Measure out 1/4 cup of batter and place on 350* griddle, add blueberries if wanted.
Heat until golden brown on both sides.
Enjoy with a low-calorie syrup.
