    2 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    4 tablespoons cocoa
    1 cup water
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup sour milk
    1 tablespoon vinegar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1 stick margarine
    6 tablespoons milk
    4 tablespoons cocoa
    4 cups powdered sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla


Sift together in a large bowl the flour and sugar. Set aside.

Melt together two sticks margarine, four tablespoons cocoa, and one cup water. Bring to a boil.

Beat in a small bowl the eggs, sour milk, vinegar, one teaspoon vanilla, and baking soda.

Add parts two and three to the dry ingrediants. Mix well and pour into a greased jelly pan. Cook at 400 degrees fahrenheit for twenty minutes.

Have frosting ready, hot, when cake comes out of the oven.

Frosting: Bring to a boil one stick margarine, milk, and four tablespoons cocoa. Add mixture to powdered sugar and one teaspoon vanilla. Mix well. Pour hot over cake when it comes out of the oven.

Makes approximately 28 2-by-2 inch squares.
