Ingredients

    Wheat Melba toast
    One packet of splenda
    Cinnamon
    Crisco nonstick cooking spray, butter flavored

Directions

one toast = one serving

preheat oven to 450-500 (this may even work under the broiler, watch it closely)

spray melba toast with nonstick cooking spray, butter flavored,

sprinkle one packet of splenda per melba toast,

sprinkle desired amount of cinnamon on melba toast,

respray quickly with nonstick spray.

Place in oven until warm, less than five minutes.

  • Innovative!! I can't wait to try this. I try to stay away from chemical sweeteners generally, though. Honey or real maple syrup is what I used (sparingly) usually.I might give this a try though. - 8/26/09
