Ingredients

    2 pounds ground beef
    2 large onions, sliced
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 cans kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
    2 - 1 pound cans tomatoes
    2 - 8 ounce cans tomato sauce
    2 to 3 tablespoons chili powder
    3 teaspoons salt
    2 bay leaves

Directions

Brown ground beef, onions and pepper. Add rest of ingredients and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Add water if needed. Makes approximately 12 servings.
