Traditional Toll-House cookie recipe modified to be a little healthier! Traditional Toll-House cookie recipe modified to be a little healthier!
Number of Servings: 36

    2 1/4 cups flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup applesauce
    3/4 cup Splenda baking blend
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 eggs
    2 cups chocolate chips

Mix flour, salt, and baking soda in one bowl. In another bowl, mix butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs slowly, followed by flour mix, and finally chocolate chips. Bake at 375 for about 9-11 minutes.

These cookies come out somewhat "muffin-y" because of the different ingredients. I usually take the cookies out about 6 minutes into baking and flatten them down with a flat spatula, and then continue baking.
