this is an awesome yeast-free bread! it's super quick and tastes great! this is an awesome yeast-free bread! it's super quick and tastes great!
Number of Servings: 12


    * *Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup
    * *Flour, white, 2 cup
    * Baking Soda, 2 tsp
    * Salt, 1 tbsp
    * Brown Sugar, .65 cup, packed
    * Molasses, .25 cup
    * Milk, 1% or butter milk, 2 cup


sift together flours, baking soda and salt. add brown sugar and mix well. add molasses and and milk or butter milk and stir to combine. pour into lightly oiled 9x5" pan, no rising required. bake in a preheated 350* oven until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 40-60 minutes. DO NOT OVER COOK! or your loaf will turn out like a brick. let bread stand in pan a few minutes, then run a knife around edge of the pan and turn out onto a wire rack or cutting board. enjoy!
