Introduction

Ingredients

    Burgers:
    Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 10 oz
    Thyme, fresh, 1 tsp
    Parsley, 1 tbsp
    Garlic, 1 clove
    *French's Worchestershire Sauce, 2 tsp
    *Bread, Joseph's Middle East Pita Bread, 1 serving
    Romaine Lettuce (salad), 0.5 cup, shredded
    Bacon, 4 medium slices, cooked ( I use precooked bacon)
    2 slices reduced fat swiss cheese

    Salad
    Ronzoni Smart Taste Penne Rigate, 2 servings (4 oz)
    Any Light or Low Fat Balsamicl Vinaigrette, 2 tbsp
    1 cup cherry tomatoes (sliced in half)
    1 1/2 Baby Spinach, fresh

Directions

Cook the penne according to the package directions. Rinse and let cool for about 3 minutes. Toss in a bowl with vinagrette, tomatoes and baby spinach. The spinach will wilt a little from the heat of the pasta. Add vinagrette and toss.

In a bowl assemble the burger ingredients, mix well and form 2 patties. In a non-stick skillet, spray with non stick spray, begin cooking the burgers.

Once cooked, slice 1 pita in half (one side for each burger) add lettuce, bacon, and cheese.

Serve with half the prepared pasta salad.
