My mom always makes this for the holidays and it's a big hit. It's super easy to make and it tastes delicious! I have certainly folded it in to my own repertoire. Ingredients

    1lb. string beans
    1 tablespoon light butter
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1clove garlic
    1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Place butter, olive oil and garlic in a microwave safe dish.
Microwave on high for 1 minute.
Stir in green beans, basil, salt and pepper. Cover and microwave on high for 4-5 minutes.
