Ingredients

2 cups quick oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup Splenda
2 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1.5 cups fat free milk
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup egg beaters
1/2 cup unsalted (plain) almonds
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray muffin cups with cooking spray.
Grind oats in a food processor for about 30 seconds.
Combine grinded oats, flour, splenda, cinnamon, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda in large bowl.
In separate small bowl, combine milk, applesauce, vanilla, and egg beaters. Once mixed, add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until blended.
In food processor, grind almonds. Stir into other ingredients. Fill muffin cups.
Bake at 425 degrees for 5 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 400 degrees and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
