Warm, spicy, but not to hot, good flavor Warm, spicy, but not to hot, good flavor
Number of Servings: 10


    1 lb sliced smoked sausage
    1 lb jumbo shrimp
    1 can tomato sauce
    2 cups uncooked rice (brown or white)
    olive oil, around .25 cup
    1 green bell pepper
    1 jalepeno pepper
    1 med. onion


peel shrimp, cut up sausage into chunks about half inch thick
chop peppers and onions
cook rice (takes 4 cups water in rice maker)
steam shrimp and sausage (Probably could just cook in pan along with vegatables but faster to prepare if steam first)
heat oil in large skillet, add vegtables, cover, and cook at med heat until tender, then
add shrimp and sausage
add tomato sauce
season to taste with cajun seasoning, and hot sauce
mix in rice when its cooked, turn to low and let simmer until you are really hungry.......taste and increase seasoning if needed while simmerring
