Introduction

veggie soup. veggie soup.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 onion and a tablespoon of oil
    3 12 oz. packages of frozen mixed veggies (I chose the kind with no potatoes or corn)
    1 large can of diced tomatoes (2 and 1/3 cups total content)
    6 cups of beef broth
    I can's worth of water
    salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
    Italian herbs optional.

Directions

sautee chopped onion briefly in oil. Add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a simmer. Done when vegetables are tender.

    How can you know the number of calories if you just say 'several' packages of frozen vegetables? And how large is the can of tomatoes? - 9/25/09
