Ingredients

    6 russet potatoes, scrubbed and quartered
    3 slices of bacon
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 chicken broth
    2 chicken bouillion cubes
    milk
    butter

Directions

in large stew pot cook the bacon until done. add the chopped onions and cook till shiny. add potatoes, chicken broth and chicken bouillion cubes. cook on high for 10 minutes and then turn to med and cook until potatoes are very soft. add butter and milk to thicken soup.
top with cheddar cheese and serve
