Ingredients

    3 cups Wheat Bran
    2 cups Oat Bran
1 1/2 cups Whole Flax Seeds
1 1/2 cups Organic Cold Milled Golden Flax Meal
1 1/2 cups Genisoy Soy Protein Powder
    1 cup Splenda

Directions

Mix all ingredients into a 10 cup storage container with a tight lid. Seal and shake until well mixed. Measure 1/3 cup of dry cereal into a cereal bowl. Add boiling water until it is the consisnancy of cooked oatmeal. Add milk (or water) to desired eating consistancy.

I love to add 1/2 cup of thawed blueberries, strawberries or fresh fruit. Splash in a little vanilla; other extract; or sprinkle cinnamon, nutmeg, or any combination of spices.

For chocolate cereal, stir in 1 or 2 tbls of cocoa powder before adding hot water. Yummmmy!!

This cereal is wonderful.I even omit the Splenda and it still tastes great! I like to make up a batch and take it along when I go on trips. it is not hard to find a source of hot water and if you have access to yougurt or some milk if you are visiting someone, you can have a very healthy breakfast. - 5/17/10

Thanks so much for this recipe! Just what I have been looking for! So filling and tastes great. Being vegetarian and trying to lose some weight, it's often hard to find easy, low calorie meals that are high in protein and fiber - that ALL the family likes as well!! Thanks again! - 10/23/09
