    2 lbs pinto beans
    1 1/2 Tbsp minced onion
    1 1/2 Tbsp garlic salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp ground pepper
    1 Tbsp cayenne pepper
    2 lbs smoked ham hock
    6 Tbsp molasses

    8 cups bottled water


Add beans & 4 cups of water to a medium pot. Bring to boil. Turn off and let soak over night.

The next morning drain and rince beans.

Add all ingredients plus 4 cups of water to crockpot, set to low and slow cook for 9 hours.
