Introduction

I like to make this first thing in the morning. I like to make this first thing in the morning.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/2 C plain low-fat yogurt
    1 C Non-fat milk
    1/8 tsp Stevia (or other sugar substitute)
    1/2 C Strawberries, frozen and unsweetened
    1 Tbsp Flax Seed
    Ice Cubes as desired for consistency

Directions

In blender, combine yogurt, milk and stevia*.
Add Flax Seed.
Add Strawberries one at a time until all are blended.
If smoothie is not as thick as you would like, add ice cubes in blender as desired.

Substitutions:
cottage cheese can be substituted for yogurt- it is more filling, but not to everyone's taste.
Any berries or other frozen fruit can be substituted for Strawberries.
Adjust sweetener to your taste. You can use your favorite sugar substitute for this as well.
