    12 oz. of lean ground beef
    1 lg. onion, sliced
    1 head of cabbage, shredded
    2 cans of stewed tomatoes
    1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
    1/4 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
    1 tsp oregano
    1 tsp thyme
    2 tbsp cornstarch


Shred cabbage and boil/steam til soft.

While cabbage is cooking, saute onions with ground beef, cook til ground beef is cook through and crumble and onions are soft.

Add cooked cabbage and remaining ingredients except cornstarch to the pot and cook together til heated through and seasonings can come out nicely, around 10 minutes.

Mix a small amount of water with cornstarch, add to pot to thicken. Bring everything to a boil and allow to thicken a bit.

Serve with rice, potatoes or pasta of some sort if you'd like.
