Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    8 oz. lean ground beef
    1/2 onion, chopped fine
    1 t. cumin
    1 c. bulgher wheat
    1 c. water
    salt, papper

Directions

Boil water, add bulghur. Take off heat, and let stand 30 minutes. In the mean time, chop onion, add to ground beef with cumin and salt and pepper. Drain bulghur, and add to beef mixture. Put in shallow pan with sides. Score top in diamond pattern. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
Mix together 1/2 c. plain low fat yogurt. Stir in 1 t. tahini (sesame paste) and 1 T. fresh lemon juice. Serve with meat. Serves 4.
