Ingredients


    400 grams lean ground beef mince
    4 tbsp red lentils
    1 medium onion chopped
    1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    Tin chopped tomatoes
    1/2 tin red kidney beans
    1 large or 2 small carrots grated
    Chilli Powder to taste (as a guide i use 2 tsps but i don't like it to hot)
    1 cup of frozen peas

    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Fry the chopped onion in the olive oil until soft. Add the mince and brown, drain off any excess fat then add all the other ingredients. Mix well, cover and simmer for 20 - 30 mins until all ingredients are cooked through. Serve with brown rice, or small jacket potato.
