A yummy treat for the fall! A yummy treat for the fall!
Number of Servings: 10


    1 C All Purpose Flour
    1 C Rolled Quick Oats
    1 tsp Baking Soda,
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 C brown sugar, packed
    1 Tbs cinnamon
    4 medium apples, grated
    1/3 C Unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 C + 2 Tbs 1% milk


1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Combine dry ingredients
3. Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl
4. Slowly mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients
5. Mix thoroughly
6. Spray loaf pan with non-fat cooking spray
7. Pour mixture into greased loaf pan
8. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

    This didn't cook well and was really gummy. I think less apples and more oats/flour would have made it better. I don't think I'll be making this again. - 11/4/10
