    2 Large Carrots, chopped
    2 Large Stalks Celery , chopped
    1 Large Onion, chopped
    3 Cloves Garlic minced
    4 Cups or 2 crowns fresh Broccoli, chopped
    6 Cups Chicken stock, home-prepared or store bought, not broth),
    2 Cups 2 % Milk


Cook onion, celery, carrot, and garlic over medium heat for 5-10 minutes. Add chicken stock (store bought is fine, nutrition info is for homemade though, and it makes the soup taste better). Bring to a boil and add the broccoli, simmering until broccoli is tender. Use an immersion blender , food processor or regular blender to blend soup, in batches if necessary. Once all the soup is blended, return to the pot, add milk, and return to a boil. Great with a little cheddar cheese sprinkle!
