Introduction
This was my first try at Butternut Squash Soup. I used Red Delicious Apples. It's a revised version of someone else's recipe. Still needs something... any suggestions of how to sweeten/punch it up?? Ingredients

* 12 oz of Butternut Squash, Cleaned & Chopped
* 1 Medium size Red Delicious Apple
* 1/2 cup of Frozen (or fresh) Onion
* Chicken Broth - 99% F/F - 1 entire Qt
* 1 Tbsp Ground Nutmeg (to taste)
* 1 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon (to taste)
** optional: sour cream, salt, pepper to taste
Directions
* Heat pot on stove - add Onions on Med-High heat
* add Chicken Stock (entire Qt) to Onions
* Clean, Peel , De-Seed and Chop up the Squash into cubed sections
* Clean, Peel and Chop 1 Medium sized Red Delicious
Apple
* Add Squash & Apples to Pot
* Let cook until boils, then reduce to Simmer. Allow to Simmer for about 10-15 mins, until tender
* Ladle mixture into a Blender, add Nutmeg and cinnamon and Puree for a few minutes depending on consistency/texture wanted.
Let cool a little and enjoy.
Optional, add some Sour Cream, salt and/or pepper.
