Easy to make chili, great for a cold day! Easy to make chili, great for a cold day!
Number of Servings: 9


    Salt and pepper
    2 pounds lean ground beef, browned and drained
    1-2 cups chopped peppers (I usually use whatever kind of peppers I have in the fridge at the time.)
    1 14.5 ounce can of diced tomatoes with green chiles
    2 15 oz cans of tomato sauce
    1 15 oz can of chili beans
    3 15 oz cans of kidney beans
    2 packets of McCormick Chili Seasoning


In a large pot, brown ground beef, mixing in peppers. I salt and pepper the grown beef while it's cooking, but that's optional. There is plenty of salt in the chili seasoning. Drain off the grease after the meat is cooked.

Add in the remainder of the ingredients. Mix well. Serve when it's hot. I usually let mine simmer for a few hours to let the flavors develop.

Makes approximately 9 16 oz servings.
