    3 lbs chicken drumsticks, skin removed
    4 medium red potatoes, peeled and halved
    1 small hot pepper or few pepper flakes
    Medium onion, diced
    2 tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tbsp. ground curry powder
    1/2 tbsp. garam massala
    piece cinnamon stick or pinch of ground
    1 small plain yogurt
    1 1/2 cups canned chicken stock, + 1/2 cup water


Finely chop garlic, one onion & pepper. Heat oil in large pot. Add Mixture of ground garlic, pepper, onion, garam massala, curry powder & pinch of cinnamon. Allow to fry on slow heat for 3 - 4 minutes to realse oils. Do Not Burn. Remove.

Add more oil to pan if necessary and brown chicken pieces. Add potatoes, salt to taste. Return spice and onion to pot. Add chicken stock. Cook until potatoes ar edone and chicken runs clear.

Remove from heat and stir in yogurt
