Introduction

Delicious sticky sweet marinade for prawns, serve with a fresh rocket salad in Summer or with steamed brown rice in Winter. Great to chuck on the barbie! Ingredients

    16 raw (green) king prawns
    4 tbsp Light/low sodium soy sauce
    2tbsp Honey
    6 cloves Garlic
    2 tsp Sesame Oil

Directions

Shell and devein prawns leaving tail intact.
Crush garlic into large bowl.
Add honey, soy sauce and sesame oil, stir to mix.
Add prawns to bowl and mix until thoroughly coated with marinade.
Cook over high heat in a frying pan or on your BBQ for 5 min, turning until cooked on both sides then... enjoy!

    Very Good
    This is a really tasty recipe. I used chopped ginger instead of garlic, and cooked the marinade down so it was a beautiful sticky sauce for the prawns. - 5/14/11

    This was not bad at all really enjoyed it I did not add as much soy sauce as it says though as I thought it would be overpowering. - 4/22/11
