    1 box Pillsbury Moist Supreme Devil's Food cake mix
    15 oz. can pure Pumpkin
    2 Egg whites
    1/2 cup water
    6 oz. (1/2 bag) Nestle Tollhouse Mini Morsels

    Cream cheese mixture:
    8 oz. package Philadelphia Neufchatel Cheese
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract


Mix together 1 box devil's food cake mix, 1~ 15 oz. can pumpkin, 2 egg whites, and 1/2 cup water in large mixing bowl. Stir in chocolate chips. Set aside.

Beat 8 oz. cream cheese in bowl. add sugar, egg, salt and vanilla. Cream until smooth.

Line mini muffin pans with paper liners. Put about 1/2 teaspoonful of cake batter into each muffin cup. Spoon in 1/2 tsp. cream cheese mixture, then cover with another 1/2 tsp. of cake batter. The muffin cups should be almost even with the top of the paper. The do not rise much. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 15-17 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into muffin, comes out clean. Cool in pans. Remove and store in airtight container after completely cooled. Can also be frozen.
