Directions
Preheat oven to 350
Combine oats,flour,salt,brown sugar and baking soda in large bowl.
Mix in softened butter until crumbly.
Press half mixture into bottom of a baking pan
Combine dates,water & lemon juice in small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened. Remove from heat.
Spread date filling over base and pat remaining crumb mixture over top.
Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until top is lightly toasted.
Cool before cutting into squares.
