Cooked like liver and onions. Cooked like liver and onions.

    Venison cut into strips.
    Onions cut into strips
    1 Red potato cut in quarters
    3 T olive oil


Coat venison strips in flour (we love to use the heart for this recipe) then brown in the oil. You can substiture type of oil, but calcuations are based on olive oil. When venison is browned add onion strips and quartered potato with about 1/2 C water, cover and simmer until potatoes are cooked. Keep and eye on the water level as you may have to add more.

This will make its own gravy. Makes 4 servings.

Serve with sides of your choice. I usually serve with green beans and salad (neither are included in the nutritional count on this recipe).
