    1 pound beef - sliced into 1 inch strips
    1 TBS butter
    1 TBS onion flakes
    1 cup white mushrooms
    1 cup portabello mushrooms
    salt to taste
    2 TBS flour
    1/2 t paprika
    1 cup white wine
    1 cup beef broth
    1 TBS mustard
    1 cup yogurt


heat skillet - add butter, beef & mushrooms - saute until brown
add flour, paprika & salt & cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly
add wine & beef broth - reduce head & allow to simmer 10 minutes
remove from heat & stir in mustard & yogurt
serve over egg noodles
makes about 5 or 6 servings -

  • To be honest, I only had about half the ingredients on hand...yet my BF and I both loved it! Next time I'll give it a truly fair shake. I have no doubt I'll be stunned: the yogurt worked very well, and the mustard was a welcome surprise! - 9/29/10
