My lazy version of lasagna ... all the yummy taste & so much less work! My lazy version of lasagna ... all the yummy taste & so much less work!
Number of Servings: 8

16 oz (I lb) box of Ziti
1 jar Hannaford Tomato, Garlic & Onion Sauce
1 1/5 cups Ricotta (part skim)
2 cups (8 oz) Shredded Mozzarella (part skim)
    Reserved Pasta Water

Preheat oven to 350. Cook ziti according to package instructions, but place strainer over a bowl to reserve some of the cooking water from the pasta.

Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Pour half the jar of sauce into the bottom of the dish.

Mix the hot pasta with the ricotta in the same pan it was cooked in, using some reserved cooking water to thin out the cheese a bit. Pour pasta/cheese mixture and spread over sauce in baking dish. Top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top & bake for 20 min or until cheese is melted & golden brown.

Makes 8 1 1/2 cup servings.
