Introduction

Thicker than soup but not as thick as stew! Thicker than soup but not as thick as stew!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 can black beans*
    1 can light red kidney beans*
    1 can fat free refried beans
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 can tomatoes with jalapeno peppers
    1 pack of reduced sodium taco seasoning
    2 cups chopped onion
    1 lb bag of frozen corn
    12 oz boneless skinless chicken breast
    1 1/4 cup kraft naturals Italian 5 cheese shredded cheese

    *you can drain the beans for a thicker stew like consistency*

Directions

combine all ingredients except chicken and cheese into crockpot
Place chicken on top and cook for 6 hours on low stirring occasionally keeping chicken towards top
remove chicken and shred
return to crockpot and mix well
cook for an additional 30 minutes
spoon into bowl and top with cheese

** I like to top with 1 serving of crushed fritos or a whole wheat tortilla broken into pieces but did not include this in nutrition information **
