    2 cups dry kidney beans
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 large onion
    1 cup chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. Chili powder
    2 cans tomato paste


Soak beans overnight (or follow intructions on bag for quick soak). Cook soaked beans for 2 hours.
Brown the ground beef and drain the fat.
Cook onion and celery until slightly softened, add to ground beef.
Stir in tomato paste and chili powder.
Add beans to the beef mix. Simmer together until beans are tender.
