    2 lbs. venison
    2 cups carrots
    2 cups celery
    2.5 cups potatoes
    1/4 c. barley
    garlic cloves to taste
    salt & peper


Brown venison in suet or butter. Add onions and celery. Cook until tender. Add water and all other ingredients except barley. Cook about 1 hour, add barley. Let simmer until desired consistency.
