    1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
    1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
    1/2 large red onion, finely chopped
    3 fresh garlic cloves, finely chopped
    1/2 cup shredded carrots
    1/2 cup A-1 steak sauce (optional)
    1 cup tomato sauce, (topping)


Mix into meat, chopped veggies and steak sauce. Don't over mix, just enough to combine.

Make into hamburger size patties.

BBQ patties until 95% done. Pour tomato sauce over each pattie and cook for additional 5 minutes.

You can top with more veggies and a little melted cheese. I find eating these with out the bun is even more heavenly. I reheated these two days later and they were still juicy. Not just for lunch/dinner, I loved it for breakfast.
