Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes. Drain, cool, peel and chop.
Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil; cover, remove from heat, and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, cool, peel and chop.
In a large bowl, combine the chopped potatoes, eggs, peppers, onions, garlic powder, .basil, parsley, paprika and Mayonnaise. Mix together well so that all ingredients are evenly scattered throughout the mixture.
Add Sweet Peas by gently mixing it in trying not to squish the grains as you do so. refrigerate until chilled.

  • I'm confused: the ingredients list doesn't match the foods in the directions. I AM interested in trying different home-made potato salads, so I hope this recipe will be updated or explained more clearly. Thank you! - 11/28/09
