    * Half and Half Cream or milk, 4 cup (remove)
    * Pepper, black, 0.25 tbsp (remove)
    * Salt, 3.50 tsp (remove)
    * Bacon, 0.50 unit, cooked (yield from 1 lb raw meat) (remove)
    * Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    * Parsley, 3 sprigs (remove)
    * Red Potato, 800 (remove)
    * Water, tap, 3 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    * Cornstarch, 100 (remove)
    * Clams, canned, meat only, 3 cup (remove)

    Cut clams into bite-sized pieces if you don't use baby clams. Saute bacon and onion until golden brown, drain. Put into slow cooker with clams. Add all remaining ingredients except milk, cornstarch, and parsley. Cover and cook on high 3 to 4 hours until vegetables are tender. During the last hour of cooking, combine 1 cup of milk or cream with the cornstarch. Add cornstarch mixture and the remaining milk/cream and stir well; heat through. Top each servind with little chopped parsley. Can be served with crackers or crusty French bread. Cooking time is 3 to 4 hours in the crockpot.
