Ingredients

    1 1/2 lbs stew meat
    2 lbs potatoes
    3 carrots
    5 stalks celery
    1/2 onion
    8 oz peas
    water
    4 beef bouillion cubes
    1/2 cup flour
    1 cup bisquick
    1/2 cup milk
    salt, to taste
    1 tbsp crumbled bay leaf

Directions

In large ziploc bag, shake stew meat in flour. Heat oil in stock pot. Brown meat. Cover with water. Add bay leaves and bouillion. Cook about 15 minutes. Add carrots, onion, and celery. Cover with water. Cook 10 minutes. Add potatoes. Cover with water. Cook 10 minutes. Add salt to taste. Add peas, cover with water, and cook for 10 minutes. In small bowl, combine milk and bisquick. Drop by spoonfuls into boiling stew. Cook for 10 minutes uncovered. Cook for 10 more minutes covered.
