    0.5kg minced beef
    1 Carrot, grated
    1 Onion, grated
    1pt beef stock
    2tbsp tomato puree
    1 can plum tomatoes
    1 bay leaf
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 cup mushrooms, sliced
    6 cups spaghetti


Brown the beef mince in a large saucepan and then add the grated onion and carrot.
Add the beef stock, tomato puree and the tin of plum tomatoes along with the bay leaf and cloves of garlic.
Bring to a boil and then cover and reduce to a simmer for 1-1.5 hours depending on thickness requirements.Add mushrooms when to required thickness and continue to simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve on the spaghetti
