Ingredients

    2 tablespoons onion, chopped
    2 tablespoons margarine
    3 tablespoons flour
    2 teaspoons sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/8 teaspoon basil, dried
    1/8 teaspoon oregano
    1/8 teaspoon thyme
    2 cups tomato juice
    2 cups milk

Directions

Saute onion in butter until softened.
Remove from heat.
Stir in flour, sugar, salt, and all seasonings. Once combined, slowly add in tomato juice.
Put back on heat, bring to a boil.
Boil for 1 minute.
Slowly stir in milk. Bring almost to a boil and serve.
