Ingredients
-
1/2 Medium Sized Apple (Cut into Slices)
1/4 Cup. Fat Free Milk
1/2 a sheet (2 crackers) of Cinnamon Graham Crackers
1 Tbs. Ground Cinnamon
1 bowl & lid
Optional: A few sprays of Parkay Butter Spray 0 calorie 0 fat
FOR A DESSERT:
1/2 Cup. Fat Free Frozen Yogurt - ADDS 90 calories + 0 fat
Directions
Place cut apples into a microwavable bowl. Pour the 1/4cup of Fat Free Milk into the bottom (or if you dont want to use milk... just use a little water). Sprinkle the tabelspoon of ground cinnamon over the apples and into the liquid. Spray some 0calorie Parkay spray if desired but not necessary. Take 1/2 a sheet (2 total crackers) of cinnamon graham crackers and crumple it over the dish. Perferably use a lid over the bowl to keep in the nutritional flavor of the apples... and place in microwave for 1-3 minutes depending if you want them a little crunchier or softer. I put mine in for about 1 1/2 minutes. Might take you a few times to find out how you like yours made.
If you want this as a low cal low fat dessert... add 1/2 cup Fat Free Frozen Yogurt on top (TASTES LIKE ICECREAM)... and enjoy!
Either way this is a great snack to fill you up at any time of the day and you get a fruit! :-)
