Ingredients

3/4 cup Cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2/3 cup smart balance 50/50 butter, melted & divided
1/2 cup boiling water
1 cup splenda baking sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of salt optional (it is in the calorie count)
3/4 cup butterscotch chips
1/3 chopped walnuts
Directions
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees - Pam a 13x9x2 baking pan
2. Stir together cocoa & baking powder in large bowl, stir in 1/3 cup butter. Add boiling water, stir until mixture thickens. Stir in sugar, eggs & remaining 1/3 cup butter; until smooth (use hand mixer - goes faster). Add flour, vanilla, & salt; blend completely. With spatula stir in butterscotch chips and chopped walnuts. Pour into prepared pan.
3. Bake 35 to 40 mins or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Frost if desired - (this reciped does not include frosting) Cut into squares & Enjoy!!!
