Introduction

This tastes just like stuffed cabbage rolls that my mother makes but takes no time at all to make. This tastes just like stuffed cabbage rolls that my mother makes but takes no time at all to make.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, small (about 4-1/2" dia) (remove)
    Ground beef, lean, 16 oz (remove)
    *Brown Rice, long grain, 1 cup (remove)
    *Spaghetti/Marinara Sauce (tomato sauce), 3 cup (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
    Garlic, 3 tsp (remove)
    2.25 cup of water
    2 tsp. Italian seasoning

Directions

Par Cook the rice for about 3-5 mintes in 2 cups of water (or until 1/2 the water is gone. Then drain rice in a collander.
Chop the cabbage into 1/2 in strips and layer into a casserol dish. Mix uncooked ground beef with onions, garlic, seasoning and rice. Spread meat mixture over the cabbage. Pour the pasta sauce over top of the meat mixture. Cover and cook at 375 degrees for 40 miutes or until meat is cooked and the cabage is softened. Drain off excess water and serve.
