Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb extra lean ground beef or chicken or turkey
    1 small to medium onion - chopped
    1 - 8 ounce can tomato sauce
    1 - 14 ounce can stewed tomatoes
    1 - 11 ounce can kernal corn with liquid
    1 - 10 ounce can peas with liquid
    2 large carrots chopped and partially cooked
    4 or 5 medium potatoes diced

Directions

Brown onion and ground meat until cooked through.

Chop carrots and boil in small amount of water until partially soft. Raw carrots can be replaced with canned carrots if you can find them. If using canned carrots no pre-cooking is required.

Combine all ingredients in a large soup pot and simmer for 20 minutes or until potatoes are cooked.
