Introduction

Ingredients

    2 pounds of washed mussles
    olive oil
    4 to 6 gloves of choped garlic
    1/4 cup choped fresh parsley or 2 tbsp of dried parsley
    1/4 cup choped fresh basil or 2 tbsp of dried basil
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    1/2 cup white wine (drink the rest)
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a big pot, pour in the oil and all the other ingredients except the mussles. Boil for 5 minutes. Add the mussles, close the lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Discard all the mussles that didn't open. Put the mussles in a serving dish. Boil the cooking liquid for 5 minutes (without the lid). Pour on the mussles and serve.
