    1 sm. head iceberg lettuce,

    1lb. very lean ground beef,

    2 sm. avacados, peeled and chopped,

    3 tomatoes, chopped,

    1 can kidney beans,

    1 med, sweet onion, chopped,

    1 med. bag fat free tortilla chips, reserve 1/4 of the bag and crush the rest,

    2 cups grated cheddar,

    hot sauce to taste,

    1 1/4 cups low-call 1000 Island dressing


Chop lettuce into bite size pieces. Add tomatoes, cheese, avacado, and onion. Toss with dressing to which a little of the hot sauce has been added.

Brown beef until browned. Add kidney beans and hot sauce (to taste). Heat through.

Toss beef/beans into lettuce mixture. Add crush chips tossing well. Serve at once. Maybe served with remaining chips.
