Number of Servings: 12


    1 cup flour
    3/4 cup spelt flour
    1 tbsp. raw brown sugar
    1 tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. onion powder
    4-5 pieces of bacon, cooked and diced.
    3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
    1 cup 2% milk (could use skim if you prefer)
    1 egg
    1.5 tbsp. olive oil


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl and then add the cheese and bacon.

Mix the egg, oil, and milk together, then add the wet ingredients to the dry. Combine thoroughly, but quickly.

Spoon mixture into paper-lined or greased muffin cups and bake 20-25 min.
